Koolnonsense LLC consults clients in need of SEO, Site Design and Programming on how to plan for their new development needs. We will coordinate their needs and information, present it to the pool of developers for RFP, and help the client choose the best partner for this project. We will project manage, QA and oversee all aspects of the project until the development team meets our expectation.  I know what its like to be on both sides and customer service in the development fields has always been poor, flaky designers, project mangers that talk to much tech and not enough English. Koolnonsense started off  strictly design and is now Seo and Client services.

Jess Carpenter  Owner and SEO guyJess Carpenter is your virtual Department Manager / Art Director / Project Manager and all around Fireman for issues that may arise when dealing with a designer or developer.

Jess has 15 years of experience working in the design and programming industry.

His last fulltime positions as the Art Director / Department Manager with Cambria Corporation, a small company known for its custom software development, He had the opportunity to manage a department of freelance designers as well as in-house full time designers while also putting together a staff of designers in our Makati office. He was fortunate enough to hand pick his design department staff. He felt comfortable with freelancers, coming from a freelance background myself. He used freelance designers and programmers witch were a big part of how Koolnonsense LLC works, so he had staff on file at the time.

In 2007 there were a few drastic changes to his department. The company president decided to open an office in the Philippines and he was to only hire designers in that office in order to stay competitive. So he lost his current freelancers and assembled a new team of full time in house designers in Makati. Jess has had experienced this before when he assembled a team of developers and designers in India for Intermedia Interactive.

This is usually the kiss of death for a lot of small companies in the US, it works out for about 2 years and then the company ends up falling apart , usually because there are not well thought out information sharing strategies. Unless there are great project managers and a well thought out flow for information the projects take more time to develop and go way over budget.

His department was the first in the company to be profitable and have a set process witch the rest of the company would implement into their department’s process.

He had to create a process for just about every type of inter-office and client task, and the needs like the department were ever changing and growing. He learned so many things and implemented them into the companies design department procedures. Jess has a deeper understanding about why all companied have different processes and how the process is the key to better performance and increased revenue, but also respect the individuals the make up the team.

The clients he worked with ranged from small shops with limited budgets to larger organization with long term projects and larger budgets. He has worked with multilingual web site projects including the Arabic language which calls for an inverted UI from the Basic English language interface.
